Volunteer Your Time

Volunteers are essential to the heartbeat of ABC. With training and flexible scheduling, volunteers serve in a variety of roles. Others help behind the scenes by preparing mailings, hosting baby showers, or sharing ABC’s mission within their churches and communities.

In-Center Volunteer Roles

Volunteers who serve directly with clients make an extraordinary impact:

• Client Advocates or Male Mentors: Walk alongside clients with encouragement and options education.
• Sonographers: Registered nurses or licensed RDMS professionals who perform limited ultrasounds.
• Teacher/Educators: Facilitate classes on pregnancy, parenting, baby care, and more.
• Abortion Recovery Facilitators: Lead Bible studies and support for post-abortion healing.

All volunteers complete training and orientation, ensuring each person is equipped and confident to serve with excellence and compassion.

Additional Ways to Serve

Not all volunteer roles need to be client-facing:

• Church Liaison: Connect us with church leaders and help promote baby bottle campaigns and events.
• Baby Boutique Support: Sort donations and prepare items for families.
• Service Projects & Networking: Organize service projects or help connect ABC to individuals and businesses.
• Event Support: Assist with our Annual Banquet and other vital events.

Practical items meet practical needs. Donations of new baby clothing, diapers, wipes, and essential gear are distributed through our Earn While You Learn program, ensuring parents receive both education and tangible support.

• Diapers (sizes newborn to size 6 and pull-ups); we especially need sizes 5 and 6
• Wipes (sensitive skin)
• Formula (unexpired formula and baby food)
• New baby bottles
• Baby clothes – NB to 5T (new and gently used)
